Pine Island Academics, Arts, and Athletics Foundation
SUPPORT US
History
The Pine Island Academics, Arts, and Athletics Foundation was created in 2009 to support the educational programs for both the students and personnel of the Pine Island Independent School District, #255. The Foundation provides funds for education programs and activities recognized by the District which either have not been funded or have been under-funded by the normal operating budget. The focus is to provide financial support to enrich and enhance educational experiences and creative and innovative projects which benefit academics, arts, and athletic programs. The Foundation can receive tax-deductible gifts of cash, stock or land. Funds received are only used to support projects proposed by staff or students of Pine Island School District. The Foundation has made gifts in excess of $85,000 and scholarships totaling more than $10,000 since its inception and is guided by a volunteer board which relies on the generosity of community members for financial support.
